Single Coil Pickup
What are some good single coil pickups to replace the ones in my strat copy?
I just got this guitar and the sound quality is terrible.

And fuzzy stuff

Try these guys out, they have a large variety of prewired pickguards. you just take off the old one and put on the new one (probably have to wire the guitar jack in, but other than that it should be easy.

If you get an HSS pickguard, that might require some routing out of the body under the pickguard to make room for the humbucker.
If you want to wire up your own, using your old pickguard, and some really good pickups, checjk the GFS pickups page on the same site.
I've heard on Forums that GFS pickups sound really good.
(Also, just curious, how does the neck and rest of guitar play? Good action or needs a lot of adjusting? Some of their copies look like they might be pretty good, but I've never seen one in person?)

could it be the pickup coil?
okay i have no spark on only one spark plug wire. already tested the distributor cap, the ignition coil, the module, and the spark plugs as well.
also replaced the bad spark plug wire and tested it with a good wire, still didnt help.
i have 8 cylinders and all 7 are fine just except that one that isnt getting a spark.
could it be the pickup coil?
could it be the timing chain?
the car isnt running and its not my main vehicle but i still need it running.
91 caprice with 219k and 5.0 motor
For what it's worth, it's not the timing chain or the ignition coil - both these items would not effect only one cylinder.
Give the distributor internals and cap a thorough visual check for any broken components, hair line cracks or carbon tracks.
