Deriving Minor, Diminished and Augmented Intervals

When we perform these half step modifications to create minor, diminished and augmented intervals, we may notice that the interval size does not change-only the quality. There are four rules for defining these interval derivations:

1) A major interval which is lowered or contracted by a half step becomes a minor interval. Thus a major 3rd (2 whole steps) which is lowered by a half step (1 ½ steps) becomes a minor 3rd. Or a major 7th lowered by a half step becomes a minor 7th. Note, as we pointed out earlier, that the quality of the interval changed but the interval distance remained the same.

2) A perfect interval which is lowered or contracted by a half step becomes a diminished interval.

3) A major interval which is raised or expanded by a half step becomes an augmented interval.

4) A perfect interval which is raised or expanded by a half step becomes an augmented interval.

What is the best guitar hero controller to get for cheap?

I want to get a guitar controller for guitar hero (on xbox 360) and was wondering what the best cheap ones are, and how much they are.
I found a 'Guitar Hero X-Plorer Wired Guitar Controller', but was wondering if there were any cheaper, but still good quality ones. Also, is the one I mentioned the official one?
And can you use older controllers for the newer games?

You can use any Xbox 360 guitar controller with any of the Guitar Hero games. There are some knock-off guitars out there, and although i have not personally used them, I've been told they work just as well. Wireless is obviously more expensive so go with wired to save some money, plus the wired actually work better. Go to Target or Wal-Mart and they have the official and knock-offs there together so u can see them, but the knock-ff will work just as well. Go get your guitar and keep rocking!!!
