computer problems-built a computer -gigabyte ex58-ud4p-Corsair TR3X 6Gb DDR3 1600 (3x2Gb) Tri-Channel Kit-ca?
can only get it working on one memory stick -do i need to enable something in the bios to make triple channel work -or put the sticks in certain slots-or ? who knows -really appreciate help on this one

No...since you're using identical RAM sticks, and the board has 6 RAM slots, and you alternate slots...there should be no issues. As for the BIOS, it should already be set by default to register all three slots, since the board was intended to do so from the start. It's kinda like your car not turning over when you turn the key, because it is designed to do so.
The first thing that comes to mind is bad sticks...since all the producers were having serious issues with their 2g sticks (DDR2 primarily) not that long ago.
Assuming that your 64bit OS is installed already...run the DXDIAG and read through it carefully. It should tell you if all of your RAM slots are working...and if they are, how much of each stick is registering.
You can also check by going through the System Properties.
Oh, do yourself a $600 favour...do NOT overclock your RAM. If you do, you could fry your CPU, since the memory controller is on the CPU, and it can not handle voltages in excess of 1.6v. I'd also see if I could trade-up for the 280 were I you, but that's me...that's also assuming I'd use a nVidia card.
