How do i connect my new HDTV to my tv signal?
My hdtv has lots has RGB Analog, DVI Compliant RGB, and HDMI and others.
But my dvd player and old tv all have simple thick needle lick connections, which my hdtv doesnt have. How can i fix this? What must I buy?
Its a Samsung T240 btw
Couple of things. First, you'll probably need a digital cable box if you want an HD signal from your cable. If this isn't an option, You will have to look at ways to convert coaxial to HDMI, DVI or VGA, which is going to probably be at least 2 or 3 separate converters. You will probably have to convert coaxial to S-Video or Composite, then composite to DVI, VGA or HDMI.
Second, you have a DVD player with a coaxial output? It must be really old. To be honest, if I were you, I would spend the 40-100 bucks and go to Walmart and pick up the cheapest upconverting DVD player you can find. It's probably going to work a lot better than the box you have now, and it will certainly look a lot better on your new HDTV.
I know, it sucks upgrading; but you bought a monitor, not a TV, so it doesn't have legacy ports like composite, component, s-video or coaxil that were really only designed for TV's.
Feel free to e-mail me if you want more help.

Most people with young families will have thought about purchasing childrens play equipment for their garden and it certainly is a good idea - especially if you want somewhere they can safely let off steam whilst you keep an eye on them from the kitchen or bedroom window. Indeed kids play equipment really is a good investment because quite apart from getting them out in the fresh air, most modern children's play equipment is designed to stimulate their imaginations and build social skills through interaction, and of course kid's play equipment provides countless opportunities to use up their almost boundless energy.
Active, imaginative play will certainly be enhanced by choosing kid's play equipment that incorporates interesting shapes and colours. And you'll find that a lot of children's play equipment features all sorts of climbing frames and ropes to swing on, along with stairs to access different levels and little rooms or covered areas in which they can hide during their games. Most manufacturers of childrens play equipment also offer models with a built-in sandpit or even a swing, so make sure you look at a good selection of kids play equipment before choosing the one that's right for your needs.
When thinking about where to place children's play equipment in your garden, remember that you need to put kids play equipment somewhere where there is flat level ground along with a softer surface in case they take a tumble - a concrete driveway or flagged patio is really not suitable. It's likely that smaller kid's play equipment can simply stand on the ground but you may need to fix larger childrens play equipment into the ground for added security, especially if it has raised levels, climbing frames and swings.
Given the vigorous and active way that children play, it's worth remembering that even though children's play equipment is designed with safety in mind, wear and tear over time can create rough areas or sharp edges so don't forget to keep a careful eye out for any possible hazards. You can expect kid's play equipment to be strongly made and to use non-hazardous materials, but you still need to consider how your childrens' play equipment needs may change over time because those little angels can rapidly turn into burly pre-teens who can give even the toughest kids play equipment a hard time.
You'll find when you start looking for kid's play equipment that most manufacturers have different ideas about what children's play equipment actually is and consequently you will have quite a wide variety of models to choose from. In fact you'll find everything from a tiny tots cottage to a tree house to an activity centre listed as kids play equipment so spend a little time looking at your options rather than buying the first one you see, because sometimes what seems initially attractive to children can rapidly become boring and you need to make sure that your childrens play equipment will retain their interest.

Homegrown band members fed by international musicians
FAIRHOPE, Ala. — Most American teenagers, and those whose garage bands survive into their 20s, usually play rock ‘n’ roll music. But not so for the Eastern Shore-based band Roman Street, whose instrumental tunes soar to the beat of Latin-influenced melodies and rhythms.

Songs of praise: How Rwanda got its groove back
A decade and a half after the genocide that decimated Rwanda, the country appears quite peaceful; prosperous, even. Aid workers in shiny 4x4s may still be conspicuous on the streets of its capital, Kigali, but more cheerful are the guys in bright-yellow tabards flogging pay-as-you-go airtime on the street corners, cashing in on Africa's mobile-phone boom. And, if you listen closely, there is ...
