Great Condition

What to do with clothes that are in great condition but too small to wear comfortably?

I have a whole lot of nice shirts and pants that are too small. They are Aeropostale and other nice preppy brands. I need some ideas on what to do to make them wearable or where to get rid of them or just any ideas.

See if a re-sale shop will buy them off you or donate them to Goodwill.:)

Telecaster Bridge
What can I do to make my new Fender Mexican Telecaster sound better?

I have already ordered some Seymour Duncan Hot Trails pickups that i am going to put it in, and I was just wondering if there was anything i should do to make it sound/feel more like an American. I know some people don't like the hight of the bridge on the Mexican ones and such, so please help me with ANY changes i should make.

Replacing the neck would be the only thing that would really change it significantly at this point. The Mexican necks are slightly thinner. Check out this site I found for some cool telecaster modifications:

Fender's American Stratocaster and Telecaster remain the best-selling musical instruments in the company's line, which is saying something, given the rich history this company has had over the past decades. Though Leo Fender is long gone, the newest American-made instruments that bear his name are a substantial testimonial to his guitar-building legacy. The present-day crop of instruments combines the best of the of the new and the old.

Never ones to rest on the past, Fender has actively interviewed a wide variety of players to see how Fender could build even better musical instruments. Leo Fender would indeed be proud, since he was perpetually concerned with the requirements of real working musicians as he built his products.

Fender sagely chose to retain the ingredients of their instruments that plainly didn't need changing. Let's use the Stratocaster as our first example. Still present are the Micro-Tilt neck, two point vibrato (honestly, a vast improvement over vintage designs), the four-bolt neck, 22 fret necks, 9.5" fretboard radius, and DeltaTone circuit. So, if these elements are still present, how is the time-honored Stratocaster new?

One of the best new features is a thinner paint undercoat, which actually results in clearer tone since the wood can breathe a bit more. The neck is better as well, with a satin finish on the back, giving it a much smoother feel. The neck front, by contrast, has a gloss finish, giving the instrument a really professional look.

They also wisely resolved to refine the bridge design, incorporating beloved elements from vintage-style tremolo bridges. It has a higher mass design, which results in much improved sustain.

The recent design also includes vintage-style bent steel saddles, which aid in capturing the classic vintage Strat tone. From Buddy Holly to Jimi Hendrix, it's all here.

While the stock Fender bridge doesn't supply the same level of tuning security that a locking system does, for all but the most outrageous whammying the Fender system is amazingly stable.

Likewise, the Telecaster experienced superb upgrades as well, including a redesigned bridge. The Tele includes a brass plate that, when coupled with the steel saddles, provides obvious Telecaster twang!

Both guitars include a world-class TSA lock-equipped SKB case that makes airport travel a picnic, and the case is very well-designed and could take quite a punch, we bet.

With street prices under $1,200, the Fender American Standard series is a fine choice for those searching for the merger of old and new.

that MK looks nice, has all the whistles and buzzers but is only a 22 fret, if that doesn't bother you that's the one I'd go for, as far as Ibanez go's it's hard to go wrong there, as far as Squires go it's hard to go right, might as well buy a First act from Walmart

Fender Strat Stratocaster
Fender Stratocaster.What are the advantages of a 12 string Strat over the classic 6 string version.I?

I only saw a 12 string model for the first time this week .Did not know it existed.I used to play a Stat 20 years ago and am thinking of getting back into it.Any good advice from serious guitarists please.

Fender has a 12 string electric they just started making them again for a short time.Only advantages i can give you for the 12 string is that it has a beutiful harmony song that cant be made through a 6 string unless you use a pedel and still doesnt sound as good as the real deal.My opinion is it's not worth getting unless you want to play a 12 string always.They do hold you back on lead and playing faster and there also a pain to restring,but if thats what you like go for it.

Jennifer Anniston- J.AN.- A Month for a 'Friend'- An Excerpt from The Great Pumpkin Letters

Chief Crazy Captain Christo has seen enough. Grown ups acting like children. Children growing up too fast without the right adult supervision. Friends don't let friends call up and be drunken fools. As always, Chief Crazy Captain Christo is on the road with his CODE. He bumped into an old 'Friend' who had just gotten off the phone and was visibly shaking with rage. Upon further review, Chief Crazy Captain Christo realized it was another overly dramatic drama queen. Her name has been changed to a chilly and cold month. We join the conversation in progress. As usual, Chief Crazy Captain Christo disguised himself as the O-range Blob of Light.

J.AN. " Heyyyyy! Whooose shining that light in my faaaace! Get outta here you floopin papa rat see!"

O-Range Blob of Light-" Jennifer, snap out of it! It is I, Chief Crazy Captain Christo. I have come to open your eyes and dry your tears. Quit acting like a wounded heart ache and listen up!"

In an instant, the actress was sober and had stopped crying. Who was this O-range Blob of Light and why had he come to talk to her.

O-Range Blob of Light- " From now on you will be known as J.AN. EWE AIR E. For you are being shown the future in a different light. A whole month you will be FRO ZEN solid. Trust me, it is for your own good." and with those words the FRIENDS star was solid ice. Chief Crazy Captain Christo saw that his power had grown up. No longer did he hold back pent up emotions and he let out a roar as loud as thunder and lightning shrieked across the universe. He was back! The Good Chief Crazy Captian Christo then took the FRO ZEN FRIEND to Omaha Nebraska on a sweltering hot summer day into the year 2011. When J.AN had thawed out completely, she awoke with new eyes. No longer feeling sorry for herself and her destructive past, she turned to the O-range Blob of Light and asked,

J.AN- " Why are you showing me this? This is the most beautiful place on EARTH. And it is in Nebraska. Omaha of all places. I thought only old rich guys like Warren Buffett and the gecko from GEICO lived here. Hey who is that girl on stage with that crazy looking guitar player skateboarding in a half pipe with three foot of vertical. It looks like he is playing a Dimebag Electric Razorback Explosion. And he has a brass slide on his middle finger of his right hand. Who is he and hey who are you?"

O-Range Blob of Light-" My name is Chief Crazy Captain Christo and I think you know who that is onstage. Look closer!"

J.AN-" I don't flippin know please just tell me and what is this place?"

O-Range Blob of Light-" The little girl on stage is an American Girl. Her name is being withheld at this time to protect her innocence. The guitar player on stage is ME!"

J.AN-" Noooo Wayyyyyy! That's you! How come I've never heard of you. My old boyfriend John Mayer plays better than you!"

O-Range Blob of Light, laughing hysterically at J.AN's sad commentary, quoted back, " But he'll never win an Oscar! HAHAHA! Now J.AN, please pay attention. When you wake up tomorrow, nothing will have changed. You have to make the change in your HEART. There is a little girl who is drowning in a bottomless pit of despair and it ain't you J.AN. But with a little forest gumption and a little bit of pumpkin productivity, you can help this little girl escape and in so doing you will escape your own despair and destructive lifestyle. I'll say a Pumpkin Prayer for you J.AN and it will be so...

J.AN- " Hey wait don't leave me alone. I'm cold and the tears are coming back."

But it was no use. The O-range Blob of Light had faded away into the night and left J.AN cold, alone and crying. It was then J.AN noticed she was wrapped in a blanket. An O-Range blanket. She looked at the label on the blanket which read. " This O-range blanket belongs to Linus. If found please return to The Great Pumpkin for a special reward."
